Zarduino-40™ Arduino™ Form Factor System Board

  

The Zarduino-40™ system board is designed for use with several DIP-40 AVR processors (with or without the Arduino™ bootloader) as well as those used by ZBasic. This system board allows for interfacing with the multitude of available Arduino™ shields via the system bus along the perimeter.

The system bus is designed for interfacing with our Zarduino™ shields but is largely pin compatible with Arduino™ with the exception of the 10-pin bus added at the end of the board and two pins at top left.

The Zarduino-40™ system board was designed to run our roZetta™ firmware and interface with shields of our own design which support that Home Automation application.

Since some ZBasic chips need an external EEPROM for program storage, there is a 64KB SPI EEPROM onboard. Both JTAG and ISP interfaces are provided for those who might want to program the AVR chips directly.
